Networking Buddhist Universities

 The Most Venerable Professor Phra Dharmakosajarn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University said that since Thailand is the host of the International Buddhist Conference for the past three years, all the Buddhists from various countries have reached the recognization of the need for the development of Buddhism and since each country also has their own education infrastructure, they have their universities to teach Buddhism.
This year, at the forthcoming celebration of UN Day of Vesak, Buddhist leaders will gather together and initiate the World Buddhist Universities Association. This will not be just a network for Buddhist education. WBUA will also be networking for the development of Buddhist education in every country.
